Where our patients train
Before your first visit
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No. Maine allows you to see a physical therapist directly. Some insurance plans still ask for a referral before they pay, so check with your insurer first.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring shorts or loose clothing, your running shoes if you run, and any imaging reports you already have. You do not need new imaging to start.
How long is each visit?
Every visit is 60 minutes, one-on-one with your therapist.
